What is a pure sequence in rummy?

A sequence that has been created with the help of a joker card, is called an impure sequence.

Important rules in rummy regarding the sequence
The sequence has to be a minimum of 3 Cards.
A sequence can even have 4 or 5 cards in it.
To make a valid declaration, you need at least 2 sequences.
Also, one of those sequences should be a pure sequence.
Printed and wild card jokers can be used to make impure sequences.
